They’re back for a new mystery on September 25 (UK) and September 30 (US and Canada), and while I’m counting down the days until The Impossible Fortune, I thought, why not take some time to reread the first four books while I wait for this new adventure at Coopers Chase?

A Quick Briefing About the Series
The Thursday Murder Club is the brilliant, bestselling cozy crime series by Richard Osman, which first launched in 2020 and quickly became a global favourite. The fourth book, The Last Devil to Die, was released in 2023, and now the gang is returning for their next mystery this fall.
Each story is set at Coopers Chase, a quiet (but not too quiet) retirement village in the English countryside, where four unlikely friends — Joyce, Elizabeth, Ibrahim, and Ron — meet every Thursday to dig into cold cases over tea and biscuits. But for reasons no one can quite explain, this charming little community seems to be surrounded by real crimes, and naturally, the club keeps getting involved.
Every new book, it’s a new case filled with sharp wit, hidden clues, and characters you’ll wish you could be friends with in real life. Alongside the cozy crimes and clever twists, you’ll also find heartwarming moments and a surprising emotional depth that will steal your heart in the very best way.
