Hey, I’m Ana Ragazzi!

Hi, I’m a tired Brazilian millennial (yes, another one) who moved to beautiful Scotland with my husband three years ago, chasing magic, wild nature, ancient castles, misty mornings, and quiet moments that feel like something out of a storybook. I’ve always dreamed of a slower life, probably in the Scottish countryside, though I haven’t quite gotten there yet. But hey, I’m working on it every day, one step at a time.

While my dreams may not have fully come true yet, I welcome you to my blog, Messy but Make It Cute, a little corner of the internet where I share my latest interests and longtime favourites.

I’m a true Sagittarius (because, of course, hehe), naturally drawn to anything beautiful, creative, and just a little bit dramatic. I’m obsessed with period dramas productions like movies, TV shows, books, you name it, anything that puts me straight back to the past. History, kings and queens, castles, old love stories, poetry, folklore… if it looks like it belongs in a dusty old library or a Jane Austen novel, I’m probably into it.

You’ll also find me happily lost in a cozy true crime book (because life needs a little mystery too right?). I have a soft spot for all things cozy like warm drinks, soft blankets, grey rainy days, and a deep love for art, nature, music, and all the little joys that make the chaos of life feel a bit more magical.

This blog started as my way of fighting the never-ending cycle of work, eat, scroll, sleep, repeat. It’s a cute (and slightly desperate) attempt to stay sane by talking about the things I love, and maybe finding people who love them too.

And the name? Well, it says it all. Like any good millennial, I’m a bit of a beautiful mess. I pick up new hobbies every couple of months, obsess over the weirdest things, and somehow manage to make the chaos look… well, kind of cute and magical.

So whether you’re here because you also love a spooky Victorian ghost tale, can’t stop rewatching Pride and Prejudice waiting for Mr. Darcy scenes, need a break from doom-scrolling, or just stumbled in by accident, welcome!

Grab a drink (coffee, tea, wine—no judgment), make yourself comfy, and let’s embrace the mess together.

One post, one obsession, one little joy at a time.
